When you and your partner have self confidence, you are naturally more independent and will have a stronger relationship with each other. The reason being neither of you are dependent or parasitic on the other. When two people are self confident and have many things in common they are sure to have a great relationship and share many happy times together.
If your partner is the only one with confidence and is left to take care of everything including trying to make you feel better about yourself all the time, the relationship is doomed to failure.
The first step
The first step to improving yourself is you must start believing in yourself and develop self confidence and independence. That means learning to depend on yourself more, develop your own personality, talents and skills to realise more of your potential as an individual. This leads to inter-dependency which means two confident independent individuals, with their own talents, skills and abilities coming together to form a happy lasting relationship.
Neither of the two individuals become parasitic or dependent on the other, they have learned to develop self belief, confidence and responsibility for themselves and their life which creates and leads to inter-dependency and greater fulfilment in relationships.
Learn to take responsibility when it comes to caring for the house and children and never take your partner for granted. Make your relationship strong by both of you learning to give and take in all situations.
Inter-dependency makes for better individuals and more fulfilling and rewarding relationships.
